2021 Event T-Shirt
Overview
A project done for Step One Automotive Group, originally for a collaborative event with Harley Davidson Fort Walton Beach. It was received so well that the shirt was used for the whole year of 2021 at Step One Automotive events.

Project Objectives
- Must represent Step One as a whole so that any dealership could give them to leads.
- Should communicate Step One Automotive' s relationship with the military community in the area.
-All brands should be represented along with the brand call to action information.
Early Stages.
When I initially took on this project, I wanted to experiment with creating a design that would fully wrap around the shirt, letting it catch eyes at the event it would be distributed at. I also had the task of balancing the two main aesthetic themes the Step One Automotive has; the first being rugged and outdoorsy, and the second being race inspired and luxurious.
The racing stripes on the back reference the types of racing stripes you would see on muscle cars, and also symbolize the five brands sold at the company's first dealership, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat Fort Walton Beach.
Creating the Artwork.
While the concept was appreciated, there were revisions to be made. First, they wanted to incorporate the American flag into the project. Taking this in mind, I created several drafts in photoshop for some quick renderings, and of the 5 drafts produced, these two claw patterns were approved moving forward.
Adding More Details
Added the logos and the details that each brand Step One had at the time to the back. Main revisions for these were to use the full color logo rather than the frosted logo seen here.
Vectorization.
In order to get everything prepared for the printing company to be able to produce the shirts, I vectorized all of the artwork. A few tweaks such as resizing the artwork so that it would fit the size parameters of the print shop.
As this would be the last decision to approve before printing, I added a few color options to choose from.
