Emerald Coast Connected is a local business promotion app for the Emerald Coast area. Promoting local businesses to both locals and tourists, Emerald Coast Connected was designed by locals for locals.
One of the key aspects of the logo I wanted to focus on was creating a way to communicate the tourism and local-first mindset of the platform with combining the motifs of the five counties of the Emerald Coast. To do this I took key aspects of each counties logo and combined them into a drop pin.
Some of these details include the birds from the Bay County emblem, the rose from Santa Rosa County, the sun from Okaloosa County, etc.
